Nicole Bobek, 31 years old, was not arrested for being in possession of drugs but instead investigations believe that she is part of a drug ring operation. Bobek made her first court appearance this Monday via video from the Hudson County Jail.
Just heard it on the scanner that former figure skating champ Nicole Bobek has been busted on drug charges. And not just possession or intent to sell, but being part of a drug ring operation.
In one word, wow. What a fall from grace. Here you are representing your country and being a professional athlete. Next moment you are a low life drug peddling criminal.
The ring prosecutors hinted at netted over a dozen arrests. Bobek lives in Manhattan and Jupiter Florida where she was arrested as a ‘fugitive from justice’ with the charges being filed here in Hudson County. Ms. Bobek faces 10 year in the pokey if she’s convicted on these charges.
